1967, 14"x18", oil on canvas board. I began
this the summer of my 12th year with the tutelage of a lady in my neighborhood
who had some painting experience. I finished it the following summer. The majority
of the rock in the foreground was done that second summer. An obvious improvement
in my brush work.
